Discovery Garden Montessori School (DGMS) is seeking to fill a Pre-School teacher assistant position for our 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will have an Associates or bachelor's degree, and a passion for education. Candidates will contribute enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity, professional conduct, excellent communication skills, and a desire to be part of a dedicated team of educators. Our Primary classroom includes children from 3 years old to 6 years old. The candidate will provide support for the classroom Lead. Based on experience, the candidate will be offered mentorship with a certified Montessori teacher and opportunities for professional development. DGMS offers an exceptional Montessori education for children 16 months through 3rd Grade, with additional elementary education to be added as the children progress. DGMS is an independent, nonprofit, and non-sectarian school affiliated with the American Montessori Society. We are the only Montessori School located in beautiful Springfield, Missouri.
