About Lindbergh's Little Academy:
Lindbergh's Little Academy is a preschool dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education. We are committed to creating a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for our young learners ages 0-5. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Float Teacher to join our team! What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Flexible Classroom Support:
Seamlessly transition between different classrooms (infants to pre-K) to cover staff breaks, planning time, and maintain state licensing ratios.
Engaging Support:
Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum, managing positive classrooms, and creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
Nurturing Care:
Provide individualized care, emotional support, and a warm, safe environment for each child's well-being.
Conscious Discipline:
Embrace and implement Conscious Discipline practices to foster social-emotional growth.
Family & Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with parents, participate in family engagement events, and collaborate closely with colleagues.
Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
Proven ability to communicate openly, professionally, and directly with co-workers to resolve minor classroom conflicts or challenges independently before bringing them to administration. What We're Looking For (Qualifications): A strong understanding of early childhood development across ages 0-5. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in an early childhood education or childcare setting. Passion for early childhood education (CDA or ECE units/degree preferred). High adaptability, patience, and a love for variety in the classroom. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Commitment to learning and practicing
Conscious Discipline Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay:
$15.50 to $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
