Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Floater/Assistant to join our dynamic childcare team! In this vital role, you will provide flexible support across multiple classrooms and activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your enthusiasm and adaptability will help maintain smooth daily operations, assist lead teachers, and foster positive experiences for children and families alike. Responsibilities Support classroom activities by assisting teachers with lesson implementation, setup, and cleanup Provide attentive care to children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions to promote development and learning Help manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions between activities Maintain a clean and organized environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and shared spaces regularly Observe children's behavior and communicate any concerns or developmental milestones to lead staff Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and preparing materials for daily activities Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to provide first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and caregiving best practices Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with children's families Familiarity with classroom management strategies for different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
