We are currently seeking an energetic and compassionate 2-Year-Old Teacher to lead a classroom focused on early learning and potty training success. Position Overview The 2-Year-Old Potty Training Teacher plays a key role in guiding children through a major milestone in their development. This teacher will create a supportive and structured environment that helps toddlers build independence while fostering social, emotional, and academic growth. Key Responsibilities Guide and support children through the potty training process with patience, consistency, and encouragement. Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote early learning, independence, and social skills. Communicate daily with parents/guardians regarding potty progress, classroom activities, and developmental milestones. Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that meets licensing and health standards. Use positive guidance techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and self-help skills. Observe and document each child's growth and development, sharing insights with families and administration. Collaborate with teaching assistants and center staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach. Attend professional development and staff meetings as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Previous experience in childcare with toddlers (especially potty training) strongly preferred. Understanding of child development and positive discipline strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must meet state childcare licensing requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to sit, kneel, and move quickly to assist toddlers. Stamina to engage with active 2-year-olds throughout the day. Why Join Us?
