Child Care Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve engaging children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their social and educational development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, cognitive, and social development
• Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for children

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Strong understanding of child development milestones
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom of children with varying needs and abilities
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education or related field is a plus
