Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and Montessori methods. Proven ability in curriculum development tailored to early intervention strategies and literacy education. Skilled in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and effective learning environments. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and conveying instructions clearly. Familiarity with special education needs and adapting lessons for children requiring additional support. Experience with daycare or private school settings, including classroom experience in early childhood education environments. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare concerns. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical activities, math concepts, and standardized assessments when necessary.
