Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and proper behavior management Support classroom routines by helping with diapering, toileting, and infant care as needed Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing and reporting signs of neglect or abuse promptly Participate in ongoing training on child development instruction, first aid, CPR, and special education practices Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety protocols Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child supervision standards Classroom management skills to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment Compassionate caregiving experience such as nannying or babysitting is highly valued Ability to work effectively with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with diverse needs This position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support early childhood growth while developing their teaching skills.
