Children's House Montessori School is expanding, and we're looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, and nurturing Full-Time Floater Teacher to join our passionate early childhood education team! If you love supporting young learners (ages 1-5 years ), enjoy singing songs, exploring nature, and creating joyful learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, you'll feel right at home here.

What We're Looking For:
Education:
High school diploma required; EDU 119 preferred
Required:
NC Qualification Letter (criminal background check) Negative TB test
Preferred:
CPR/First Aid certification
Your Role:
Schedule:
Full-time, 35-40 hours/week
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM , with the flexibility to arrive earlier as needed to provide classroom coverage and support center operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide support across classrooms serving children ages 1-5 years Step into classrooms as needed to ensure consistent care and maintain appropriate ratios Support Lead Teachers in maintaining prepared Montessori environments Ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of every child Foster children's academic, emotional, social, and physical growth through engaging interactions Assist with classroom organization, cleanliness, and daily routines Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members Adapt to changing classroom needs with a flexible, team-oriented attitude
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in an active environment
Pay:
$13.00 - $14.25 per hour
