Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, childhood development, and social-emotional growth. Your leadership will ensure that each child's unique needs are met through innovative lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and effective classroom management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of preschoolers while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators committed to excellence in early childhood education. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and library services. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track student progress, facilitate assessments, and tailor instructional strategies accordingly. Design engaging lessons that incorporate assessment-driven instruction techniques and academic interventions to support diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities. Manage classroom environments effectively by applying behavior management strategies and conflict management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere. Conduct regular student assessments and analyze student performance data to evaluate progress and inform instructional adjustments using quantitative analysis methods. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, teacher collaboration initiatives, and implementing Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks for student success. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and standards while fostering a safe, inclusive space for all children, including toddlers and preschoolers in Montessori or other specialized programs. Experience Proven experience teaching young children in preschool or early childhood education settings, with a strong background in classroom management and curriculum development. Demonstrated expertise in working with children with special needs or disabilities, including experience with academic interventions and individualized support plans. Familiarity with assessment tools, student performance data analysis, and evaluation techniques specific to early childhood development. Experience designing lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math instruction (including teaching math concepts), physical education activities, and library services integration. Knowledge of educational compliance requirements, Montessori methods, private school standards, and toddler care best practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff members, and community partners effectively. Ability to adapt teaching strategies using learning technology platforms such as LMS systems to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
