Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Floater to join our early childhood education team! As a Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children across various classrooms. Your flexibility and enthusiasm will help maintain seamless daily operations, support classroom teachers, and provide exceptional care to children of diverse ages. Duties Provide consistent supervision and child-centered care for children in multiple classrooms, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, lesson plans, and behavior management strategies Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including pediatric first aid and CPR when necessary Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety Follow mandated reporting laws and document any incidents or concerns appropriately Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities First aid and CPR certification (including pediatric first aid) Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior challenges effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexibly across different classrooms as needed (floater role) Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Familiarity with daycare center operations, toddler care, infant care, and nannying or babysitting experience is beneficial Join our team to help foster joyful learning experiences!
