Job Description

Preschool Lead Teacher We're looking for a caring and creative Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team! This role is all about helping young children grow in mind and heart through hands-on learning and Christ-centered teaching. You'll create a safe, joyful classroom where kids can explore, ask questions, and experience the love of Jesus every day. Hours Our preschool operates M-Th, 9am-1pm. Teachers work from 8:45-1:15 (4.5 hrs/day). What You'll Do Plan and teach lessons that help preschoolers learn early literacy and math skills while growing in their knowledge of God's Word. Build strong, loving relationships with your students and guide them in social and emotional development. Partner with parents to support each child's growth at school and at home. Keep track of student progress and adjust lessons as needed. Lead and encourage assistant teachers in daily classroom activities. Follow childcare safety standards and best practices. Keep learning yourself—through training, reading, and sharing ideas with our team. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active connection to a Bible-believing evangelical church (pastoral reference required). Experience teaching or caring for preschool-aged children. A love for children and a calling to help them grow in both faith and learning. Preferred Skills Experience with lesson planning and classroom management. Familiarity with early childhood development. Ability to work well with parents and staff. Clear, kind communication skills.
