Lead classroom activities that promote child development, including toddler care, preschool teaching, and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create an engaging learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff, ensuring adherence to curriculum development guidelines and classroom management best practices. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications, and childcare licensing requirements. Utilize classroom experience and child development instruction expertise to assess individual student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Strong background in early childhood education, childhood development, special education, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that supports literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall child welfare. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Prior classroom management experience with a focus on behavior management techniques. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional credentials in early intervention or special education are preferred.
