Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated afternoon Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from infancy through preschool age. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early experiences of our students and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and play. Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Monitor and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents regarding their progress. Promote positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring comfort. Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and individualized attention. Requirements Must be 18 years of age. Experience working in daycare settings or preschools is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Experience with behavior management techniques and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children. Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter can be beneficial. Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners! Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
