Job Description

Presbyterian Weekday School, is a half day, preschool. We are looking for part tme teachers for our growing preschool for the Fall of 2026. It is typically a 4 1/2 hour workday.
Responsibilities:
include, but will not be limited to the following Caring and nurturing attitude towards children Excellent verbal and written communication skills Planning and implementing curriculum which is developmentally and age appropriate Creating lesson plans for preschool children and ensuring they are carried out Relating to children, parents, and staff professionally and with respect Attending meetings, in-service, training sessions, and workshops and implementing best practice into the classroom. Meeting child/staff ratio in the classroom as required. Responsible for various aspects of record keeping including: attendance of children, developmental progress of children, weekly lesson plans Conducting parent-teacher conferences Completing other duties as assigned Maintain clean and organized classroom.
Minimum Requirements :
Applicants must have experience working with children ages 5 and under. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not required. Applicants must be sensitive to the needs of others and possess a warm and caring personality. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred
Schedule:
Monday - Friday Hours are 8:00 - 12:30, monthly staff meeting and various activities may extend day.
