Job Description

KinderCare seeks dedicated Teachers for our Goldsboro center to nurture and inspire young children in a safe, engaging classroom. In this role, you will plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You'll build trusting relationships with children and families, communicate progress, and maintain a warm, inclusive environment. Working within KinderCare's collaborative culture, you'll follow all safety and licensing standards while having opportunities for professional development and career growth in early childhood education. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for young children Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Observe and document children's developmental progress Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards Collaborate with center staff to implement educational programs and curricula Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations for childcare centers Required Skills Early childhood classroom management Lesson and activity planning for young children Child development and observation Family communication and engagement Classroom safety and supervision Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Compliance with childcare licensing and regulations Basic record-keeping and documentation Collaboration with teaching teams Health, safety, and hygiene practices in childcare
