Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth for toddlers. Lead daily classroom activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when appropriate. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's development and classroom experiences. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports active learning and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements focused on early intervention strategies and special education needs when applicable. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to guide behavior positively and effectively. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention techniques. Experience developing curriculum content that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification. Proven ability to communicate clearly with parents, staff, and community partners about child progress and classroom activities. Strong background in preschool teaching or private school experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with young children is essential.
