In this versatile role, you will provide essential support across multiple classrooms and age groups, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for children, staff, and families. Duties Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to promote safety and engagement Support lead teachers with lesson implementation aligned with early childhood education standards and developmental milestones Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong relationships Follow all safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures; respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Adapt quickly to different classroom needs and age groups, providing coverage where required to ensure continuous supervision Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations Childcare experience including nannying or babysitting that demonstrates responsibility for child supervision and care Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid or related safety training is desirable Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration; ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Join us as a part-time floater where your dedication to nurturing young minds will shine!
