Join our daycare team as a Daycare Floater , supporting classrooms serving infants through age 2. In this role, you'll work alongside classroom teachers to provide nurturing care, maintain consistent routines, and plan engaging activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. We're looking for a dependable, caring team member who brings patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude to each day.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. What We Offer Paid holidays beginning immediately. One week of paid vacation after one year of service. 24 hours of paid time off annually after the first 90 days. Paid required training and paid time to complete it. What You'll Do Support teachers and provide classroom coverage as needed. Create a safe, welcoming environment for young children. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with state and FSIMI standards. Assist with daily care, classroom routines, and supervision. Communicate positively and professionally with families and coworkers. Help maintain a respectful, collaborative workplace. Qualifications At least 15 credits in Early Childhood Education or the state-required credit hours for Credentials 1 and 2. At least two years of teaching experience. Ability to build positive relationships with young children, parents, and coworkers. Working knowledge of state childcare guidelines, regulations, monitoring, and evaluation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective supervision skills and the ability to work with community-based agencies. Basic computer skills. Additional Requirements Documentation of tuberculosis-free status. Completion of a criminal background check.
ITS-SIDS
training and current CPR and First Aid certification. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a personal vehicle available on the premises for emergencies. Flexibility to adjust workdays or hours as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk, squat, kneel, and sit on the floor while caring for children. Ability to supervise and communicate with children to maintain their health and safety.
