Helps implement age appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate all domains of child's development on a daily basis. Establish a positive relationship with each child's parents/families while maintaining confidentiality. Develop a positive relationship with each child to promote the development of self-esteem and self-discipline and where every child knows that they are known, valued and loved. Maintains a healthy, safe, clean and developmentally appropriate environment for children. Effectively communicate with parents/families regarding their child's program, updates and information. Must demonstrate experience and interest in working with young children, parents and families. Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare center is preferred but not required. Must have the mobility required to ensure the safety of all children. Ability to work with children on the floor and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and in an emergency situation a 40 lb child.
