In this dynamic role, you will provide essential classroom support during the afternoon hours, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and well-managed environment for young learners. You will work closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans, support individual student needs, and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes growth and curiosity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while gaining valuable experience in preschool education and classroom management. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and educational support to foster a stimulating learning environment. Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management and personalized attention. Help prepare classroom materials, organize learning centers, and ensure all supplies are ready for engaging lessons. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and adherence to school policies. Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans for diverse learners, including those with special needs or disabilities. Maintain open communication with parents and staff regarding student progress and classroom events. Support classroom routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and transitions to promote consistency and comfort for young children. Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including literacy, math, behavior management, and preschool curriculum development. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Experience supporting children with special needs or disabilities is a plus. Technical proficiency in using educational tools or software is advantageous. Demonstrated commitment to child safety, patience, and nurturing care in a preschool or daycare setting.
