Thomasville Medical Center Hours:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 9:30 AM-6:30 PM Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can grow and thrive? As a Child Care Lead Teacher I at Novant Health's Learning Place, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional early childhood education and care. What You'll Do Provide a warm, safe, and nurturing learning experience that supports each child's unique development Uphold the center's goals, guidelines, and high standards of care Ensure full compliance with North Carolina Division of Child Development regulations and Health Department sanitation requirements Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children , families, and team members feel valued and supported
What We're Looking For Education:
High School or GED , required. NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required.
Experience:
1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age , required.
Licensure/Certification:
NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
ITS SIDS
(Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required. Additional Skills (required): NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years. BSAC if working with school age children. CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.
  • NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter
  • NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire
  • NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.
