Job Overview Happy Kids Development Center is currently seeking a passionate and energetic Three/Four Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Pay will be based on education and experience. Duties Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum that is tailored to the developmental stages of three- and four-year-olds, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence. Manage daily classroom routines, including circle time, play-based learning activities, snack time, and rest periods. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and social interactions among children. Assist in maintaining detailed records of child development observations and assessments. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events and classroom projects that enhance learning experiences. Uphold health and safety protocols by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and responding promptly to any emergencies or incidents. Maintain a clean and organized environment. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Classroom experience involving behavior management and child welfare practices is highly valued. Certification in first aid and CPR or willing to obtain. Qualifying criminal background check is needed.
