  • Wilmington, NC To be considered for position candidate must have an Associate's (or higher) degree in an Early Childhood realated field (Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Sociology, Elementary Education, Child Development, Human Growth and Development, Birth
  • Kindergarten, or Early Childhood Special Education) and at least 2 years experience. $15.19
  • $19.56 starting-pay increases with higher experience and education levels
  • + PTO + Paid Holidays Locally owned early learning center in Wilmington is hiring a Lead Teacher for 12-24 month ages .
No nights, no weekends, a consistent weekday schedule. Responsibilities Create a warm, structured, and safe Toddler Room environment that supports exploration and development. Lead daily lesson planning and implement age-appropriate activities targeting language, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions; document progress and communicate with families regularly. Supervise and support teaching assistants; ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and safety policies. Assess individual needs, collaborate with specialists when needed, and adapt curriculum forthe needs of the children enrolled.
