Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities tailored to infants' developmental stages, fostering exploration and discovery. Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety, comfort, and active participation in all activities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications, pediatric first aid procedures, and early childhood education standards. Skills Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques. Certified in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and familiar with mandated reporting laws. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to foster positive parent relationships and team collaboration. Ability to manage behavior effectively through compassionate guidance and behavior management strategies. Classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare center environments is essential. Demonstrated ability to implement child development instruction tailored to individual needs.
