About Marsh Creek Concrete Marsh Creek Concrete is looking for a dependable, experienced, and safety-focused Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in diesel repair, heavy truck maintenance, construction equipment service, or fleet maintenance who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to support daily operations across our concrete and construction fleet. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brake systems, electrical systems, and heavy-duty components Perform preventative maintenance on dump trucks, mixers, trailers, loaders, pumps, and other fleet equipment Complete routine services including oil changes, filter changes, brake work, tire checks, and fluid inspections Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and parts usage logs Identify safety concerns and complete repairs in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and operations teams regarding equipment status and repair timelines Keep shop areas, tools, and service equipment clean, organized, and safe QualificationsRequired Experience as a Diesel Mechanic , Heavy Equipment Mechanic , Fleet Mechanic , or similar role Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance practices Ability to diagnose and repair issues on commercial trucks, trailers, and construction equipment Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work safely Strong reliability, attention to detail, and communication skills Preferred CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Experience working on ready-mix trucks, dump trucks, concrete pumps, loaders, or heavy construction equipment Familiarity with DOT inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, and fleet compliance requirements Welding, fabrication, or advanced diagnostic experience What Success Looks Like Fleet and equipment are maintained in safe, reliable working condition Repairs are completed accurately and efficiently to reduce downtime Preventative maintenance is completed consistently and on schedule Strong communication with operations and drivers on equipment needs Professional, safety-first representation of Marsh Creek Concrete every day Why Join Marsh Creek Concrete Stable, full-time opportunity with a growing concrete/construction team Hands-on work with a variety of diesel trucks and heavy equipment Opportunity to play a critical role in keeping field operations running smoothly Team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and reliability Apply Today If you have experience in diesel repair, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment service, commercial truck repair, or construction equipment maintenance , we encourage you to apply.
