Essential Duties Lead an room with older infants(12-18 months) Maintain & follow a daily schedule Establish developmentally appropriate activities Maintain confidentiality for children, families, staff, and program. Promote nurturing and bonding relationships. Communicate with parents in a positive manner on a regular basis. Participate in yearly continuing education professional opportunities. Positive team interaction. Complete appropriate daily paperwork. Physical Requirements Safely lift a child or children with a total weight up to 50 pounds. Conduct activities involving substantial standing, walking, and moderate sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching on a frequent basis. Work with hands above shoulder height with a weight up to 20 pounds. Work with arms extended at shoulder height with a weight up to 20 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel on the floor without assistance. Work with the children on gross motor skills outside in all elements of the weather.
