Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and commitment will inspire young children to explore, learn, and grow during their foundational years. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development across areas such as motor skills, language, and social interaction Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all infants in your care Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies Support individualized care plans for infants with special needs or developmental delays by collaborating with specialists and families Document developmental milestones and daily observations to track each child's growth and inform future activities Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare center setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction principles specific to early childhood education Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children positively and effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work collaboratively within a team of caregivers and educators committed to high-quality childcare Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Passion for nurturing young children's growth through caregiving, behavior management, and developmental activities Join us in shaping the earliest experiences of children by providing compassionate care, fostering curiosity, and supporting their journey toward independence. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
