Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support early intervention strategies when needed. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a structured learning environment. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard children's well-being. Provide first aid and CPR as required by state regulations to ensure safety during all activities. Knowledge of child development principles. Experience developing curriculum plans. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to foster a collaborative learning environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
