A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and at least 1 years management experience in a licensed childcare center is required . A candidate must have excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children. The Goddard School Assistant director is an excellent communicator, and can motivate and inspire others.
The position responsibilities include:
Supporting the center management (Director and Owner) in overseeing preschool operations including curriculum, quality assurance, and facility operations Developing strong relationships with our families Complying with state childcare licensing regulations Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education The Goddard School ® offers : Competitive Compensation Professional Development Affiliation with Leaders in the
Childcare Field Required Qualifications :
BA or BS Degree in Education Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Team Builder Commitment to Professional Development Proficient in general software application such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience in creating social media posts in professional setting
