Lead Toddler Teacher - The Goddard School of Laurel Springs The Goddard School of Laurel Springs is looking for a nurturing, energetic, and experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers and is confident leading a classroom while creating a loving, engaging, and structured environment where young children can learn and grow. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of a toddler classroom Implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment Support toddlers in developing language, social-emotional, motor, and early independence skills Establish consistent classroom routines and expectations Oversee meals, diapering, naps, outdoor play, and daily transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom Communicate professionally and positively with families Complete daily reports and classroom documentation Work collaboratively with an Assistant Teacher and provide classroom guidance and direction Follow all Goddard School policies and NJ childcare licensing requirements Qualifications Previous experience working in a childcare or early childhood classroom required Experience working with toddlers strongly preferred Ability to confidently lead and manage a classroom Dependable, patient, nurturing, and energetic Strong communication and organizational skills CDA, college coursework, or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Must meet NJ licensing qualifications for a Lead Teacher Why Join Our Goddard Family?
