Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum goals. (Curriculum & plans provided by The Village) Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction among young children. Support children's physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development through tailored activities and positive behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to ensure collaborative support. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing regulations. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness, supervising activities, and responding promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques. Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with classroom management expertise. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math concepts, and physical education tailored for young learners. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators to foster a collaborative environment. Childcare experience including toddler care and classroom experience in private or public school settings.
