Full Job Description Preschool Teacher Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity and cultural understanding.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children.
- Creativity in designing engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Organizational skills to plan lessons, keep records, and manage classroom materials.

Experience in tutoring or teaching specific subjects such as math is a plus.
