Kiddie Academy of Hamilton-Yardville is accepting applications for early childhood professionals to join our team as a Lead Preschool Teacher. All Lead Preschool Teacher's positions require scheduling flexibility between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. This is a full time positions with benefits including personal days, vacation days, and paid holidays. Opportunity for professional development and advancement, on-site training, and a competitive salary provided. Salary starts at $17.00 per hour, increases based on esperience and education. We offer growth with in our 3 locations.
JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Preschool Teacher will work in the classroom; planning and implementing activities that promote the social, physical and intellectual growth of children, maintaining classroom portfolios, and supporting the academy director in maintaining academy operations. He/she will promote positive family relationships and communicate effectively with parents.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
for the Lead Preschool Teacher- Plan and implement a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Assess student progress
- Differentiate teaching (when and where necessary)
- Present a professional image and uphold the dress code
- Ensures exceptional customer service experiences, e.g., thorough a welcoming environment; accessible for parent meetings, phone calls, etc.; concerns addressed in a timely manner
- Serve as an educational leader who implements and evaluates high-quality Early Childhood Education
- Create a consistent physical and learning environment for their classroom
- Participate in parent conferences
- Implementation of the positive guidance program for managing classroom behavior
- Seeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the child care and education industry The right candidate should have great interpersonal communication skills, enjoy working with children, highly organized, great classroom management skills, and be available to work full time.
