Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director for our Child Care Center on a part-time basis. The Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 12pm-6pm.

Applicants MUST be able to work the listed hours . This vital leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence early childhood education and ensure the smooth operation of our center. As an Assistant Director, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement educational programs, oversee staff supervision, and uphold compliance with all regulatory standards. Your passion for childhood development and strong management skills will help foster a nurturing environment where children thrive and families feel confident in our care. Duties Assist the Director in developing and implementing curriculum plans that promote holistic childhood development aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Support faculty in their professional development through facilitation of training sessions, evaluations, and instructional leadership initiatives. Oversee daily operations of the center, ensuring adherence to licensing regulations, safety protocols, and educational standards. Manage personnel including supervising staff, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating team leadership to maintain a motivated and effective workforce. Contribute to strategic planning efforts, including budgeting, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement to sustain the center's growth and sustainability. Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to special education law, childhood development standards, and educational regulations. Collaborate with families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote the center's mission and enhance service delivery. Experience Proven experience in school or child care administrative roles, preferably as a school or early childhood education director or assistant director. Extensive background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education settings, and managing educational programs for K-12 or early childhood levels. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator and overseeing personnel management within educational environments. Strong knowledge of school legal requirements, including special education law and educational compliance regulations. Experience supervising school staff, facilitating professional development, and evaluating faculty performance. Familiarity with classroom teaching experience in early childhood or K-12 settings is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills for public speaking, team leadership, and working effectively with students, staff, families, and community partners. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
