Job Description
We are Growing! Partners in Learning, Inc., the leading ABA non-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative intervention to children and families in Southern NJ, is looking to hire energetic and motivated childcare leaders at our location in Gloucester Township. Immediate part time 3:30-6pm shift openings for the following position:
Aftercare Leader Job Duties Include:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs
- Utilize developmentally appropriate practice and best practice methods at all times
- Be a positive role model for all care giving staff and children or
- Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development
- Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times
- Facilitate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for school age children
- Maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service
Required Credentials:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with early childhood education and understanding of accredited preschool standards and/or children with autism/related disorders
- CPR/First Aid desired
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Sitting, walking, standing, occasional running, some lifting, good fine and gross motor coordination when guiding students, ability to supervise play and exercise routines, vision and hearing and receptive and expressive language abilities as suited to instructional and behavioral needs of one's students.Benefits include:
