As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote positive behavior, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development will help create a vibrant space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore their world. Responsibilities Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports preschool teaching, and special education needs as necessary. Manage daily classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Implement child development instruction techniques that support childhood development goals. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents. Lead classroom activities to support developmental progress of students. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom experience with young learners. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, child welfare practices, and early intervention strategies. Certification in first aid/CPR and ongoing training in child safety is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with behavior management techniques, classroom management tools, and teaching of young children. Demonstrated understanding of child development theories and standards for early childhood education. Ability to plan engaging lessons that support the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of students through hands-on activities.
