We are seeking an energetic, confident and out-going teacher to join our Ridgewood studio! Our Literacy Studio is all about the LOVE of reading! We teach it, absorb it and spread the love of reading each day! We make a significant difference in the lives of young children and families through our lesson plans that are designed in-house for children ages 6 months to 8 years old. We read, write, create, and enjoy each moment! It is our own unique way of putting our stamp on the world! In this teaching role you will: Implement our unique, creative and original curriculum supporting students in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth Help to convey a vision of the Wise Wonder educational and environmental approach through strong oral and written communications skills Have an understanding of the literacy needs and development at and around different early childhood levels Assess each student's abilities and progress throughout the school year Interact directly with Parents/Caregiver who are often present in the class

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related field) required 2 years of Early Childhood teaching experience Excellent communication skills Excellent observation and supervision skills Please note this a part-time position. We are looking for an immediate start date. Must be able to commit to the remainder of the entire 2026-2027 school year. Each candidate will be trained in our Wise Wonder Curriculum + Approach.
