This position provides support throughout our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, is comfortable adapting to different classroom environments, and understands the importance of consistency, active supervision, and teamwork in a childcare setting. Reliability and punctuality are essential for this position. Responsibilities Support infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms based on daily staffing and classroom needs Provide classroom coverage for teacher breaks, lunches, and absences Assist teachers with lessons, activities, classroom routines, and transitions Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Participate in age-appropriate learning activities, art, music, play, and outdoor activities Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, nap and rest periods, and other daily care routines as appropriate Maintain clean, organized, and inviting classroom spaces Follow school policies, classroom schedules, and health and safety procedures Communicate professionally with children, families, coworkers, and administration Work cooperatively with teachers and administration to provide consistent classroom support Qualifications Previous childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred Dependable attendance and punctuality Patient, nurturing, attentive, and professional Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Ability to adapt to different classrooms and daily routines Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow directions, policies, and safety procedures Must meet applicable childcare employment requirements, including required background checks and health documentation Schedule Monday-Friday We are looking for candidates with flexible weekday availability.
