Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction Assist with toddler care, infant care, preschool routines, and behavioral management strategies Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or welfare Provide nurturing care including feeding, diapering, and comforting children as needed Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care Maintain a clean and organized environment in compliance with health and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences Skills Experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid to ensure emergency preparedness Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Strong teaching skills with the ability to foster curiosity and learning through engaging activities Classroom experience or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving skills Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience in babysitting, nannying, youth programs teaching, or caregiving roles that involve nurturing young children This position is designed for energetic individuals eager to inspire confidence in children while supporting their developmental milestones.
