Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and encourage ongoing engagement in their child's learning journey. Incorporate best practices in literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and childhood development instruction into daily routines. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education needs, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing preparations when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development stages, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy skills to young children. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment that promotes growth in all developmental areas including math skills.
