In this vital role, you will serve as a flexible support staff member, stepping into various classroom environments to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for young learners. Your energetic presence will help maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing atmosphere across multiple preschool and toddler rooms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a meaningful impact on children's development and learning. Duties Provide consistent supervision and care for children in different preschool classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist lead teachers with daily activities, including lesson implementation, circle time, arts and crafts, and play-based learning Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies Help organize classroom materials, prepare supplies for activities, and ensure a clean and organized environment Collaborate with staff to promote positive behavior management strategies and inclusive classroom practices Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within the classroom environment Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and support various age groups including toddlers and infants Classroom management skills to foster a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment Join us as a Preschool Floater to help shape young minds while gaining invaluable experience across multiple classrooms! Pay:
