Daycare Assistant

Bilingüe (Español-English) Watch and care for children, ages ranging from a few months to 12 years. Be agile and proactive during activity time with the children.

Actively participate in Circle time:

learn songs, dances, rhymes, and routines. Practice and go over in advance: songs, stories, and activities that will be used during the day. Prepare materials in advance (paper, colors, books, etc.). Propose simple activities in accordance with the age of the child when necessary. Prepare snacks and simple food when needed. Maintain a positive, patient, and energized attitude during the transition of activities. Help the children out with activities that include art, music, learning lectures, and educational games. Follow the daily plan/schedule to ensure that the children have an organized and positive experience. Requisites Before starting the job, the assistant must present: Background check/verification (required by state) Authorization of child abuse and neglect Medical examination or tuberculosis test is required Current CPR/ First Aid Certification Training is required by the State of New York Tipo de puesto: Medio tiempo
