Job Description
Overview Little Sunflowers Child Care is seeking a reliable, nurturing, and responsible substitute caregiver to assist in our licensed Group Family Daycare located in Cobleskill, NY. This position is as-needed to cover staff absences, appointments, training days, or occasional schedule changes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and helping create a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Our program cares for children in a warm, home-like setting and focuses on play-based learning, routine, and supporting children's social and emotional development.
•There is potential for this position to grow into a more consistent part-time or full-time opportunity for the right person. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, creativity, and social skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols diligently. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children. Assist with meal times, diapering, nap routines, and other daily caregiving tasks to ensure comfort and well-being. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment. Follow

Preferred but not required:
Experience working with children CPR/First Aid Certification Early childhood education background
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
