Job Description
Two seats open. More leads than our current team can work. Sundays off. Here's the honest reason we're hiring: our internet and phone leads are outpacing our sales floor. Customers are inquiring faster than we can follow up, and follow-up is where deals are won. We're adding two Sales Consultants at our Cobleskill store who treat a lead from last Tuesday like it's worth as much as the customer standing on the lot — because it is. About us Cobleskill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is part of a growing five-store dealer group with 1,500+ vehicles in group inventory — if we don't have it on our lot, we can get it from a sister store. We serve Schoharie County and draw customers from Cobleskill, Oneonta, Amsterdam, Schenectady, and the greater Capital Region. Small-town store, big-group inventory and support. What your first 90 days look like You won't be prospecting cold or fighting five other reps for walk-ins. You'll inherit a full pipeline of active internet leads on day one, plus fresh leads daily. Your job is to work them: fast first response, disciplined follow-up, appointments that show, deals that close. Our top performers earn six figures doing exactly this. What you'll do
- Respond to internet and phone leads the same day — speed to lead is the job
- Run a structured follow-up cadence in our CRM (we'll train you on our process and tools, including AI-assisted lead management)
- Guide customers through vehicle selection, test drives, and trade appraisals
- Present numbers with confidence and transparency, and work with our finance team to get customers approved — we have the lender relationships to deliver deals other stores can't
- Deliver vehicles and build a repeat-and-referral book that pays you for years
- Follow up after the sale — reviews, referrals, and service introductions What we're looking for
