• Position Overview:

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated UPK Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum while creating a nurturing environment that supports each child's unique developmental journey.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a play-centered curriculum aligned with NYS early learning standards
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social-emotional development through respectful guidance and modeling
• Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships and share children's progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Engage in continuous professional development and team collaboration
• Document and assess children's growth and learning experiences

• Qualifications:

• Birth-Grade 2 Certification or equivalent credential
• Experience in a preschool or early childhood setting, preferably progressive, play-based programs
• Passion for child-centered, developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
