Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting literacy education, and supporting the overall development of children in a Christian school setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early intervention strategies. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, spiritual, and physical development. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere. Provide individualized based on their unique needs and learning styles. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding child welfare. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Attend monthly staff meetings, and meet NYS requirements for Professional development hours Experience Previous experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques tailored for young children. Teaching certificate or CDA certificate in early education is required.
