The Hastings Nursery School is looking for an Assistant Teacher for the current school year. This is a salaried position from September through June. Typical weekly work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Coursework or a degree in the early childhood content area is strongly preferred. Teaching experience or working with young children is a must. Must be professional, positive, and a team player. Must commit to the full 10 month school year. Assist in the preparations of the classroom for daily activities; Keeping classroom toys, manipulatives, and learning environment organized and clean; Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support and nurture each child in the classroom; Help maintain a safe and caring learning environment.
