Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Duties Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement throughout the day Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or wellbeing Apply child supervision best practices to manage behavior effectively and foster positive social interactions Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Adhere to all licensing requirements and childcare regulations to maintain a compliant daycare environment Experience Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple children simultaneously Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required or must be obtained upon hire Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Previous caregiving or babysitting experience that showcases patience, compassion, and reliability Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where children can learn through play while receiving the nurturing guidance they deserve.
