Job Description

Kandyland Kids is seeking upbeat, patient, reliable, and responsible Lead and Co-Lead School Age Teachers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating a positive, engaging, and safe environment for children. Position Responsibilities Child supervision — Caring for children ages 4-12 Bus transitions — Ensuring accurate accounting of children during bus drop‑off and pick‑up Lesson planning — Developing age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities Classroom engagement — Actively participating in activities with children and coworkers Parent communication — Maintaining professional, clear communication with families Classroom upkeep — Managing daily organization and cleanliness of the classroom Training compliance — Staying current with required training hours Lead Teacher Qualifications Candidates may qualify through one of the following pathways: Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field OR School‑Age Child Care Credential or other Office‑recognized school‑age credential AND one year of experience working with children under age 13 OR High school diploma (or equivalent) AND two years of direct experience working with children under age 13 Professional Growth - We offer Tuition Assistance Programs for eligible staff interested in starting or completing a degree in Education.
