NOW HIRING - DAYCARE ASSISTANT
We are looking for a caring, dependable, patient, and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and toddlers , including experience supporting children who may display challenging behaviors. Must be able to work 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday Responsibilities include: Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom routines and activities Assist with challenging behaviors using positive, age-appropriate guidance, redirection, and behavior-management strategies Help children develop appropriate social-emotional skills and classroom behaviors Help execute daily lesson plans and developmentally appropriate activities Engage children in play, learning, sensory activities, and outdoor experiences Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, naps, and other daily care routines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe childcare environment Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and needs Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members Follow all program policies, safety procedures, and

Qualifications:
Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred Experience supporting children with challenging behaviors is a plus Patient, nurturing, dependable, attentive, and able to remain calm in challenging situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable assisting with all aspects of infant and toddler care Ability to follow and help implement lesson plans and classroom routines Must be willing to complete all required background checks, clearances, and training We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and understands the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, structured, and consistent home-away-from-home environment .
